⚔ A Threat To Honduras' Special Economic Zones

As you know, we work in partnership with Próspera ZEDE, which is THE place where we can innovate in the ways we work towards our mission.

You may have heard that the Honduran Supreme Court recently voted to repeal the ZEDEs (Special Economic Zones) in our country. The ruling itself is illegal and void under Honduran law.

This decision undermines the rule of law, investment security, and the tremendous opportunities ZEDEs offer in many factors.

What's next?

Not throw in the towel.

👀 The Resistance To New Technologies: Fear Of The Unkown

We’re often hesitant about new technologies, and that makes us miss out on significant progress.

There's always been a time where we didn't initially accept certain new technology (like IVF, contraception, Uber, Airbnb) – Innovative things that were rejected/resisted at the beginning and now are normal and beneficial.

Society tends to say, “This is bad; don’t do it,” when something new comes along.

At any point in history, we resist out of fear, while overlooking the good it could bring.

Here are some examples you may find interesting:

• Recorded music – "with canned music, children grow up without singing"

• Transatlantic telegraph cable – “awful danger of meddling with the earth's current.”

• DNA Cloning – "People used to be worried about cloning 45 years ago and now molecular biologists do it every day"

It's important to understand that "resistance" factor in what we're building with Vitalia and Próspera.
